Frequently Asked Questions
Many people can benefit from regenerative medicine treatments. However, these treatments aren’t suitable for everybody. Our doctors take several elements into account when determining who can benefit from these treatments. Any woman who is nursing or pregnant cannot have regenerative medicine treatments. Also, anyone with a compromised immune system will be unable to benefit. If you have cancer or are going through treatment for cancer, you’ll need the go-ahead from your oncologist. Many other people, however, are eligible to receive this treatment and have excellent results.
Yes. if you’ve already been through regenerative medicine treatments in the past, you can have another one in the future. Also, you’ll know what you can expect from the procedure. Even if you’ve been treated elsewhere, you can still have treatment at Stem Cell Therapies of Oklahoma.
Anybody who is 18 or over is eligible for regenerative medicine treatments. This applies so long as he or she is able to meet all the additional health requirements.
We’re unable to give you a quote for your treatment until you make an appointment and have your first consultation. This is because the cost will vary depending on the amount of treatment required and the area being treated. We do offer affordable payment plans, however, which make getting the treatment you need much easier.
In some cases, we use autologous stem cells. These come from your body. In other cases, patients opt for donor stem cells. These come from a laboratory that is FDA-certified. There are several moral and ethical issues that surround the use of stem cells from fetuses. This is why we never use any fetal stem cells.
There are a few small risks with the use of donor stem cells. Your doctor will be able to explain these. However, stem cells have no tissue or blood type. Therefore, doctors can use them universally with no risk of rejection.
If you are Catholic, there’s no need to worry about having stem cell therapy. The church has fully endorsed its use as long as there is no fetal tissue involved. Since we never use stem cells derived from fetuses, you can be confident when you have treatment with us.
No medical procedure can be 100 percent guaranteed. Everybody heals differently and all bodies react individually. However, most patients who are good candidates for regenerative medicine treatments have excellent outcomes. They usually experience reduced symptoms. Some gain complete relief. Before you undergo any procedure, our doctors will offer you expert advice. You should also do some research on your own and talk to our team. We’re able to help you decide about whether this form of treatment is right for you.
